Finding My Sunday: The Story Behind the Sunday Traveller
I’m excited to announce the launch of my website, The Sunday Traveller (thesundaytraveller.com). This project is the culmination of a long-held passion for travel and storytelling. The name “Sunday Traveller” originated from a funny incident during my posting in Delhi in 2016. After years of serving in far-flung locations, I was making the most of my time in the capital, navigating the city via the (often crowded!) Metro. My classmate, Neha Singhvi, quipped that I must only travel on Sundays, as I always found the Metro relatively empty. That name stuck, becoming a personal reminder to embrace the spirit of travel -Free from the worries and routines of everyday life—every day. This website is more than just a collection of travelogues; it’s a reflection of my journey, my experiences, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. I invite you to visit the site to read my stories and share your own travel experiences. I hope my tales inspire you to explore the world and perhaps, like me, find your own “Sunday” state of mind, wherever you go.
